Tyler Woods founded Reduxion Theatre Company in 2000 under the name Dreamstuff Productions. In that year, in the courtyard of Mitchell Hall Theatre on the University of Central Oklahoma campus, RTC produced Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing on a budget of $200. During its 3 day run, over 200 Oklahomans had the opportunity to see theatre done by a community of young actors and technicians hungry for change…hungry for the opportunity to have their work seen and respected. The results were spectacular. An entire community of citizens had come together to enjoy a group experience and share in the bond that theatre can give to us. A strong belief in the power of theatre to teach and to transform has led Mr. Woods to seek like-minded artists and patrons over the years to take part in his journey to explore the human capacity for good and evil in a realm of storytelling as old as humanity. This is now RTC’s vision for the people of Oklahoma.
